Roots Mail Music is a shop and mail-order firm, which is specialized in Western and non-Western traditional music and music “rooted in tradition” (available on CD, DVD, LP and video).
In our shop you will find a wide range of CDs and DVDs (even LP’s) with music from almost every country and region such as:
Africa, Asia, Australia, the Middle East, the U.S.A., Latin America, the Balkans, the Pacific.
The genres which we carry are a.o.: blues, bluegrass, country, English folk, Celtic folk (Ireland, Scotland, Brittany, Galicia), folkrock, klezmer, fado, flamenco, Gypsy music, Scandinavian folk, Dutch folk and cabaret, music from Flanders, salsa, merengue, tango, Cuban music, Brasilian music, rhythm & blues, singer-songwriter, tex-mex, rootsrock & pop, cajun & zydeco.

If you are looking for CDs, DVDs or videos which you cannot find in our newsletters and/or on our web-site, you can always inform about their availability and price, without any obligation.
This also applies to genres that do not commonly belong to our specialism such as jazz, classical music, new Age, popular & dance. In principle we supply everything, provided available by means of our suppliers.
Own import:
In addition to national import channels, we directly import ourselves from: Ireland, Scotland, Italy, Belgium, Sweden, England & other countries.
Delivery and payment:
We supply throughout the world. The general terms of delivery are applicable to all our deliveries.
Payments within the Netherlands can be made by bank or giro transfer. Foreign payments can only be made by means of a Visa or Master card.
For each parcel there is a surcharge for postage and package (p&p). We shall always use the best and least expensive manner of forwarding for all your orders.
Within the Netherlands (rest of Europe between brackets) the costs of p&p per consignment are:

| 3 CDs | - EUR 3,00 (EUR 6,00 < 500 gr.) |
| 4 CDs | - EUR 4,00 (EUR 10,00 > 500 gr. or 2 parcels of 2 CDS) |
| 5 CDs or more: EUR 7,00: up to 5 kg or smaller parcels of maximum 4 CDs (up to 0,5 kg EUR 6,50 – from 1 to 2 kg EUR 12,50) Please ask for the P&P prices for outside Europe. |
